-Athony Kiedis is the leadsinger. He's born November 1st 1962 in Michigan.
-Micheal Peter Balzary, a.k.a. Flea is the bass player. He's born October 16th 1962 in Australia. When he was young, he was a fantastic trumpet player, but his friends convinced him to learn the bass. Wich made him world's greatest bass player.
-Chad Smith is the drummer. He's born October 25th 1962 in St.Paul. He has been drumming since he was 8 years old. He's the second best drummer in the world.
- John Frusciante is the guitarist and sings the backing vocals. He's born March 5th 1970. He joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers when he was only 18 years old, wich makes him the youngest member.
After over 20 years in the music business, the Chili Peppers have proven they have just as much staying power as U2. The band’s 1st double album Stadium Arcadium, which just recently garnered 6 Grammy Award nominations, focuses more on a low-key Peppers’ style (some might use the dreaded adjective “mature”..) versus its more over-the-top funkadelic days. While it may not live up to the legendary status of Blood Sugar Sex Magik, the 28-track Stadium Arcadium is still jam-packed with a number of likely hit singles.
Their most well-known albums are: 'Red Hot Chili Peppers', 'Freaky Styley', Mother's Milk', 'One Hot Minute', 'Blood Sugar Sex Magik', 'Californication', 'By the way' and 'Stadium Arcadium'.
And remember: Chili is written with one L, a lot of people tend to forget that.
